Welcome to The Hornsey Club Booking Terms & Conditions.
The Hornsey Club Pavilion and playing facilities are available for hire.
Below is a guide to the clubs Terms and Conditions.
All functions need to have a person as the main point of contact who ensures that his/her group respect The Hornsey Club booking conditions.
The function room holds a maximum of 100 people. For all functions there will be at least one Hornsey Club steward present for up to 60 guests, and 2 Hornsey Club stewards for 61 or more guests. So please try to be as accurate as possible when estimating the number of people attending. This is to adhere to Fire and Safety regulations. If the number of people exceeds 100 people at the event the Hornsey stewards are entitled to turn people away.
The Hornsey Club is in a residential area. We ask hirers not to congregate loudly in the car park or outside areas, especially in the evening. When arriving and leaving the Club, please do so quietly so as not to disturb our neighbours.
Please contact the ground supervisor if you need to access the pathway for deliveries, as there is a gate which is kept locked. There is no parking by the clubhouse so please do not drive up the path unless it is for deliveries. There is no turning area for vehicles at the top of the path by the clubhouse so please only use the path if you are able to reverse it. Any damage done to the pitch due to vehicles driving on the grass will be deducted from the deposit. If you are using the kitchen facilities then please discuss with the bar manager who has access to this area.
Please do not to stick or fix things to the walls. There are hooks provided on the ceiling to hang decorations etc.
Smoking is prohibited throughout the building. Smoking is permitted outside and on the balconies where sand buckets will be provided to use as ashtrays.
Whilst you are free to set up the function room as you want please ensure the stairway is free from obstruction. If you have re-arranged the function room for your booking, please ensure it is moved back to its original state. If you need to leave equipment on the premises after your function until they can be collected, please discuss with the ground supervisor to arrange a suitable time to pick them up. You need to inform the bookings manager if you are planning to have any music at your function to ensure the correct licence is in place.
We ask all hirers to be responsible for children while on the premises. Children are not allowed in the kitchen, bar or stock room.
The Hornsey Club is a sports club, for health and safety reasons no dogs are allowed on the sports ground.
